In this lesson all learnt how to create interesting and creative backgrounds using special techniques and special effects. The products used was Golden High Flow and Heavy Body Acrylics

TOPIC: HOW TO CREATE TONAL VALUES AND COLOUR SCHEMES
In this lesson all learnt how to create a tonal value sketch using 3 to 4 values and creating a colour scheme and applying the two together in a still life painting

FEBRUARY LESSON –2017
TOPIC: RED – COLOUR EXPLORATION AND PAINTING A LOOSE FLOWER ARRANGEMENT:
In this lesson we explored the colour red and just how far one can push it. whilst learning how to paint flowers loosely and how to create a glass vase as few brush strokes as possible.
In this lesson we explored the colour red in depth and saw how far we could push the colours in creating different hues, tones, blends and mixes
I demonstrated the mixing of the reds to create a colour palette, which I then used to create a floral painting.

TOPIC: PAINTING BOATS IN A SEASCAPE AND LEARNING ABOUT HIGH AND LOW KEY PAINTINGS
In this lesson all learnt how to paint a majestic mood boat scene. we also looked at the difference between a high and low key painting and how to incorporate buildings in the background and boats in the mid and foreground.

TOPIC: CREATIVE FLORAL DESIGN
In this lesson we explored the use of colour, creative floral designs either symmetrically or asymmetrically. all were encouraged to paint from their imagination and enjoy the wonder of colour
JUNE LESSON 2017
TOPIC : FROM OLD TO NEW
In this lesson we took an old painting and turned into a new one by using mixed media i.e. – Golden pastes or gels, paper for collage, gesso and Golden Acrylic paints. This encouraged all to paint from their heart and allowed creativity to flow

JULY LESSON 2017
TOPIC: BOLD LOOSE FIGURATIVE ART.
In this lesson students explored contour drawing, drawing blindly, thumb nail sketches as warm up exercises and then created their own loose figurative painting using various colour schemes.
